She met Nurul by chance, and in a simple conversation mentioned her fascination with the world of textiles and craftsmanship . By a beautiful twist of fate, or luck, Nurul came from a family of weavers, and his wife from a family of ceramic artisans.

 

With great kindness, he invited them to visit his village, where they ended up staying for lunch and talking about how the community operates.

 

The local ceramic artisans produce pieces on a small scale, which are taken to Bali and exported from there.
